Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release

Experience the release of mental, emotional, and physical trauma, along with the easing of tensions throughout your body and mind, fostering a holistic sense of balance.

What, exactly, is BBTRS?

Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release is a spiritual and physical growth process focused on creating space and relaxation in the body. This revolutionary healing modality invites us to feel - really feel - our physical bodies, hearts, minds, spirits, and energy centers. This intimate personal relationship allows us to stand more powerfully in the world, release stress and tension, consciously step away from negative patterns, and embrace our fullest potential. BBTRS is the beginning of a life-changing journey that we call Feel To Heal.

What do we learn?

Upon understanding our internal state - assessing functionality, openness, tightness, and discomfort - the modality introduces effective tools to harness the body’s innate healing capacities. Initiating with specialized breathwork that activates natural nervous system processes, this approach promotes organic tension release, cleansing tissues, clearing the mind, and resetting energy levels. Supported by meditation, bodywork, sound therapy, and emotional expression, these elements facilitate comprehensive healing, culminating in a transformative experience.

Helping Trauma Dissipate

Trauma activates our 'fight or flight' response, leaving lasting tension that affects our health and relationships. Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release utilizes this physiological stress response, similar to spiritual experiences, inducing an altered state where therapeutic tools gently release residual trauma. This approach supports deep transformation, integrating past experiences and enhancing resilience for future challenges.

Long-Term Impact of BBTRS

BBTRS delivers transformative effects that extend beyond each session, likened to a rejuvenating "spring cleaning." It not only facilitates immediate relief but also imparts skills for lasting personal change. Participants gain insights into desired emotional states, learn effective environmental management, and renew interpersonal connections. Transformative Healing

The BioDynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release System® (BBTRS®) is designed to harness the body’s natural ability to release chronic tension and emotional trauma through a 6-Element approach. This method facilitates the emergence of joy, deep relaxation, and intimate connection with oneself and others.

BBTRS® is structured as an integrated series of seven sessions, each strategically aimed at releasing trauma from specific "belts of tension" that correspond to the chakra system. This progression is meticulously crafted to energize, open, and balance your entire being. However, the system's flexibility also allows for targeting specific personal growth issues. Whether addressing areas of the body manifesting ill health or tension, or exploring how particular experiences are stored physically, BBTRS® offers tailored support. Through private sessions, you have the freedom to direct your journey, working closely with a practitioner to delve into your personal growth.

Practitioners of BBTRS® ensure a safe environment for you to breathe, sense your body, and explore your emotions productively. They help you identify and connect with your internal resources, providing a source of support and comfort you can rely on whenever needed.

6 Elements of BBTRS

Breath
BBTRS® employs deep, continuous breathing techniques to invigorate the nervous system, facilitating the physical process of trauma release. Throughout the series of sessions, this method allows for the gradual dissipation of tension, promoting holistic balance of mind and body.

Movement
BBTRS® encourages the body's natural ability to release stored energy through various movements. This includes somatic exercises and creative dance activities, ranging from playful warm-ups to spontaneous whole-body tremors and undulating spinal motions. Movement is a cornerstone of BBTRS®'s transformative power.

Touch
Conscious touch, bodywork, and soft-tissue manipulation play a crucial role in aiding the physical release of trauma. By applying touch to tense muscles, practitioners help restore energy flow to areas that have been physically and energetically blocked. In BBTRS®, the skillful use of conscious touch is a fundamental aspect of training.

Sound
Trauma induces a multitude of cellular reactions within tense tissues. Sound can effectively help to alleviate these tensions. BBTRS® sessions often incorporate vocalization, recorded music, and live instrumental sounds to create impactful effects throughout the body or in targeted areas.

Emotions
Emotions are stored along with physical tension and surface during somatic work. BBTRS® is designed to avoid re-traumatization by preventing overstimulation. The system respects the emotional release process and connects it to the body, allowing individuals to process and integrate trauma without becoming overwhelmed.

Meditation
Meditation is both the starting and ending point of BBTRS® sessions. It fosters the development of an inner observer, crucial for sensing and integrating experiences during a session. Meditation also enhances the practitioner's resonance with the client. Various meditation practices are utilized, including physical movement, walking, and silent sitting in sacred locations.
