Transforming persistent pain
into effortless movement and breath
Treating complex issues related to this area.
In this module, you'll learn a holistic approach to working with the upper body, focusing on the neck, face, cranium, breath, and arms. Through “spatial medicine,” you'll explore the relationships within the torso’s structures, understanding how interconnected segments influence overall balance. Techniques will cover releasing the fascial network of breathing structures, four gentle listening techniques to facilitate breath, and methods to address shock and trauma.
Core topics include the functional anatomy of the myofascial system, as well as treating the liver, lungs, and stomach to support their natural mobility. You’ll also learn to release the diaphragm, sternum, and ribcage to relieve common back and shoulder tension, improving client's breathing and posture.
You’ll gain insights into the psychosomatic sources of upper body pain, utilizing a five-point approach to autonomic and emotional release. Finally, specific techniques for the rotator cuff, shoulders, hands, thumbs, and forearms will enhance flexibility and mobility, allowing clients to experience deeper breath and newfound ease in movement.
This module provides a comprehensive approach to treating persistent upper body conditions, focusing on areas such as the face, cranium, neck, breath, and arms. You will learn how to address complex issues by understanding the spatial relationships of the torso segments, using advanced fascial network treatments tailored to the breathing structures.
The training includes mastering soft listening techniques to release shock and trauma stored in the breathing mechanisms, while also developing treatment plans for conditions like TMJ, headaches, and upper limb pain. Functional anatomy will be explored in depth, highlighting the myofascial system's connection to breath, arms, face, and visceral organs, including the liver, lungs, and stomach. Additionally, you will gain insights into the psychological aspects of upper body conditions and how to use breathwork to catalyze the body’s natural trauma-releasing processes.
In this module, you will refine your skills through focused integration practices. You’ll learn precise palpation and treatment techniques for the rotator cuff, enabling you to effectively address shoulder-related issues. Powerful methods to release the diaphragm, sternum, and ribcage will be introduced, enhancing clients’ ability to breathe deeply and effortlessly.
By combining fascial treatments with psychological insights, you will develop a holistic approach to client care, ensuring effective and lasting recovery. Special attention will be given to the breathing structures, with techniques designed to optimize function and release restrictions.
